2024.09 Mars Incorporated, one of the world's larger food manufacturers, established its Mars Wrigley China headquarters in the Guangzhou Development Zone in 2017 and has maintained a good working relationship over the years. The Mars Wrigley Global Innovation Center for Gum and Confectionery started construction in the Guangzhou Development Zone. Located in Mars Wrigley's Yonghe factory in Guangzhou, the innovation center is a project with a proposed investment of nearly US$10 million, focusing on innovative research and development and experimentation in chewing gum and confectionery, and is planned to link with Mars Wrigley's Yonghe factory to create a comprehensive base that combines global innovation and research and development, advanced manufacturing and production, and talent cultivation and training, among other functions.
