Project Description

The Padma Water Project is a cooperation project between the governments of China and Bangladesh, with a daily treatment capacity of about 450,000 tons of water, which will effectively solve the problem of safe drinking water for nearly one-fourth of the population in the capital city of Bangladesh after its completion. The project is located in Dhaka City, Bangladesh, with a total length of about 29 kilometers, passing through residential areas, farmland, ponds, rivers and existing roads and other complex areas, and more rainfall in Bangladesh, precipitation concentration, which has brought about a greater impact on the construction.
